Why we built it
The CRMs already in this industry track a customer, a quote and a job, and then stop. The hard part starts after that: working out which authority owns the road, which permits and licences the works need, where the right forms are and who to send them to. In most businesses that work is still done by hand, from memory, across spreadsheets and inboxes. That is where the delays come from.
We built Pilot because we kept meeting that problem ourselves. We wanted one system that handles all of it, so we made it highly automated and genuinely intelligent, and built it around how permits and licensing really work.

Pilot identifies the exact location of the works.

The correct highway authority is filled in automatically, so nobody has to work out whose road it is.

Pilot attaches the USRN (Unique Street Reference Number) and the what3words reference for the site.

All the application forms for that council are brought into the job.

Contact sheets come with them.
Data sheets show who to contact at the authority, so applications reach the right people first time.

Permits and licences are tracked.
